Scottsdale Public Art presents its fifth year of the cutting-edge, interactive art event Canal Convergence Water + Art + Light. With the support of presenting sponsors Salt River Project (SRP), the City of Scottsdale, and Billie Jo and Judd Herberger, Scottsdale Public Art brings together international and local artists to create a one-of-a-kind, immersive art event. This is the story of how it all comes together!

ArtsBuild: Creativity + City Design, is an education program in collaboration between the Office of Arts and Culture’s Arts Learning Program (which supports arts experiences that inspire creativity, strengthen communities, and enhance the quality of life for Phoenix residents) and Public Art Program (which places artists on design teams to collaborate with architects, engineers, community members and others, to plan and build infrastructure throughout the City of Phoenix.). Through a series of community workshops ArtsBuild engages Phoenix residents of all ages in the creative and collaborative process of designing and building a modern city. Digital Preserve was thrilled to get to work with the City of Phoenix's Office of Arts and Culture to take on the tasked of helping document the workshops and share the story of this process.
